How to Open TCP or UDP Communications Port(s) For Applications or Games (Port Forwarding)

1. Browse into the modem interface (10.0.0.2)
2. Enter username and password to enter the configuration interface
3. Under Configuration, click on the Virtual Server link
4. In the Public Port enter the port number required by the application or game
5. In the Private Port enter the port number you wish to direct the incoming data to
6. Place a dot by the data type this port will be, TCP or UDP
7. Enter the IP address of the computer you want to direct this incoming data port to. Click here for the procedure to set a static private IP address on the network interface card.
8. Click the Add This Setting Button
9. Repeat the above steps for each additional port you wish to open and when done, click the Save Settings link on the left side of the page
10. Click the Submit button to write the settings to flash and reboot the modem
