Configuring the Netopia 2246 and 2247 for PPPoE Connection
1. Browse into the Cayman router’s web interface.
2. Click on the configure link in the upper menu bar.
3. Click on the Wan link in the menu selections.
4. Click on the ATM link under Other WAN Options Choose correct VCI: UE=33 Paradyne=35.
5. Choose PPP over Ethernet under encapsulation.
6. Click on Submit.
7. Click on the WAN link in the upper Menu bar.
8. Click on PPP over Ethernet vcc1.
9. Click the dropdown list box by Restrictions and choose None
10. Enter the username and password. Append a lowercase "p" on the end of the username.
11. Click on Submit

12. Click on the little yellow alert symbol in the upper right of the menu box.
13. Click on Save
14. Confirm that the configuration database has been updated by looking in the lower left corner of the display.
15. Click the Restart button beside the Help button in the upper right of the menu box.
16. Click on the link to Restart the Device
17. Click on Restart the Gateway. The modem will now proceed to restart and permanently save the settings.
